The UM Dual Credit office announces a new program for high school junior and seniors:

UM EARLY COLLEGE

An elite Dual Credit program offered by The University of Mississippi

 

What is Early College?

  • Online college classes taught by UM faculty just for high school students
  • Four-week online tutorial course introducing high school students to the university environment and expectations
  • Online tutoring support for Early College classes only
  • Close monitoring of grades and student activity
  • General Education courses offered at a reduced price

Early College Courses for Fall 2013

Writ 101            First-Year Writing

Rel 101            Introduction to Religion

 

 

Eligibility

The University will follow the requirements for participation as stated in the state legislation. A student wanting to enroll for Early College or dual credit must have a minimum of 2.5 GPA on 14 high school core units.

  

 

Tuition for Early College Courses for Fall 2013
